Visit to International Organizations
Through this program, participants will visit international organizations, companies, and startups, gaining firsthand experience in addressing global challenges. The visits are categorized into five key areas: Humanitarian Aid, Global Health, Diplomacy, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship. For example, participants will visit UNHCR and ICRC for humanitarian aid, WHO and Gavi for global health, ITU for innovation, and startups for entrepreneurship. In the field of diplomacy, they will experience international negotiations at the UN Geneva Office and the Permanent Missions to the United Nations. These experiences will help participants develop a broader perspective and equip them with the skills needed to become future global leaders.

Workshops
This program aims to equip participants with new perspectives and skills through workshops based on the following four themes:

Self-Discovery:
Sessions focused on deepening self-understanding, identifying personal strengths, and exploring core values. -
Enhancing Soft Skills:
Workshops designed to improve essential leadership qualities such as communication, problem-solving, and decision-making—key competencies for next-generation leaders. -
Deepening Knowledge:
Expert-led sessions providing insights into global issues and the latest initiatives in international affairs. -
Learning from Real Experiences:
Firsthand accounts from professionals working in international organizations and on the ground, offering valuable lessons from real-world challenges and successes.
Outdoor Activities
Participants will experience the breathtaking nature of Switzerland and the vibrant international city of Geneva through engaging outdoor activities.

Alpine Experience:
A visit to Glacier 3000 offers a unique opportunity to immerse in the grandeur of the Swiss Alps. Through scenic hikes in the stunning mountain landscape, participants will reflect on the power of nature and the importance of environmental conservation. -
Exploring Geneva:
Discovering the city of Geneva, participants will engage with Swiss culture and everyday life. Activities include visiting local markets and cafés, strolling through historic districts, and experiencing the charm of this multicultural hub firsthand.

Day 1 (Saturday, August 3)

- Afternoon: Arrival in Geneva, transfer to accommodation, orientation
- Evening: Welcome dinner
Day 2 (Sunday, August 4)
– Les Diablerets
- Morning: Transfer to the Alps, “Welcome to Switzerland” session
- Afternoon: Icebreaker activities and self-introductions
- Evening: Dinner featuring traditional Swiss cheese fondue
Day 3 (Monday, August 5)
– Les Diablerets
- Morning: Trekking at Glacier 3000
- Afternoon: Workshop on climate change and public health, team activities, and discussions
- Evening: Dinner
Day 4 (Tuesday, August 6)

- Morning: Refugee camp session focusing on empathy, featuring voices from Palestine
- Afternoon: International relations and humanitarian law session
- Evening: Dinner and reflection time
Day 5 (Wednesday, August 7)
– Geneva
- Morning: Transfer to Geneva
- Afternoon: Visit to the UN Geneva Office (UNOG) and guided tour; Visit to ICRC, discussion on humanitarian response in conflict zones; Visit to WHO, session on infectious disease response and emergency preparedness
- Evening: Dinner featuring Swiss cheese fondue

- Morning: Visit to UNHCR, lecture on refugee support initiatives
- Afternoon: Session at the Permanent Mission of Japan to the UN; Lecture on security and international affairs at the Graduate Institute (IHEID)

【Applicant Profile】
We seek participants who:
- Are highly aware of social issues and aspire to make a positive impact on society
- Are socially engaged and deeply interested in different cultures
- Embrace new challenges with enthusiasm and a proactive mindset
- Have an interest in emerging technologies and believe in their potential to transform society
- A level sufficient to participate in discussions in English (equivalent to Eiken Pre-1 or TOEFL iBT 60–80)
- Can dedicate approximately 10 hours to pre-seminar study
- Can commit fully to the program without distractions
- Are adaptable and open to schedule adjustments
Additional Considerations:
- Female staff will accompany participants to ensure the safety of female students during the program.
- For shared rooms, room assignments will be made with clear gender considerations.

August 2: Please arrange your arrival at Geneva Airport between 13:00 and 22:00. Our staff will welcome you at the airport.
August 10: The program officially ends at 14:00. If departing the same day, we will accompany you to the airport. -
Airport Transfers
Our program staff will arrange transportation from Geneva Airport to the accommodation. -
Accommodation
In the Alps, participants will stay in a hotel in Les Diablerets, Vaud. In Geneva, accommodation will be near the airport. Rooms will be shared, with two participants per room, separated by gender.
